MiXER is a unique and the only cross-disciplinary collaboration based residency, where artists from diverse artistic disciplines and cultural backgrounds are encouraged to engage, share methodologies and inspire each other. With the task of working in pairs artists are given the opportunity to regenerate their creative dynamism, exchange and develop new ideas; experiment with no fear of failure and thus assess their own artistic processes – learning valuable insights from other art forms.

Accommodation
Accommodation is included in the program fee. We offer a furnished, shared house with single bedrooms, a shared kitchen, bathroom and a cosy yard. (towels & bed sheets, pick up/drop off from/to bus/train station, the use of basic tools, equipment & materials, Wi-Fi, and a bike are also provided)
Disciplines, work equipment and assistance
We are looking for cultural and artistic diversity thus we are encouraging creative individuals in all fields to apply: visual artists, musicians, writers, theorists, dancers…
Studio / Workspace
The residency has both indoor and outdoor spaces for creativity. The offered working space is flexible and generally adapted to each artist’s individual requirements and needs. A shared 100 sqm bright & high ceiling space.
Fees and support
720 euros, paid in two instalments
Expectations towards the artist
The selected artists from diverse artistic disciplines are paired up to work collaboratively on a new body of work. Furthermore, their task is to assemble an ARTISTS’ BOOK covering the leading aspects of their collaboration.
