Sustainability: This residency encourages artists to work with a sustainable and resourceful way. We encourage a low / no waste approach and support this by assisting to find and provide upcycled materials and resources. This is also practised with our living situation, we venture to recycle natural, plastic, metal and paper waste and invite our guests to join.

Nature Connection: Helping to inspire artists with beautiful scenic surroundings and a getaway from city life. Right next to the beautiful Tayrona National Park, you will be living and working in a jungle paradise. We are surrounded by plants, the Piedras river and maybe you will be lucky enough to see the rare wildlife.

If you have a skill to build facilities for something we don’t yet have (ceramics, forge, etc), we would love to hear your proposal.

Self-reliance: We are here to provide an inspiring and enriching experience for artist residents. We will do our best to provide the facilities you need. Please be aware that this residency provides you a space, endless inspiration in nature but it is the artist’s responsibility to get to and from the residency, cook their meals and clean up after themselves.
