Name of Residency: Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence Program

Weir Farm Art Center offers residencies for one visual artist at a time for a period of two weeks to one month.

All visual media are accepted.

Deadlines is November 1 for the following February through November.

Artists live in an historic farmhouse and work in a recently completed state of the art studio just steps from the house. House and studio are located at the Weir Farm National Historic Site in lovely Wilton, Connecticut.

Application fee is $35US and can be paid through PayPal.

Description of Organisation:

The Artist in Residence program (AIR) selects ten artists to live and work at Weir Farm National Historic Site each year. To date, over 200 artists from throughout the U.S., as well as Tunisia, Germany, Australia, England, India, South Africa and The Netherlands have participated in the AIR program. Visual artists apply for one month residencies in all media and diverse artistic points of view from traditional to experimental. The facilities and utilities are provided free of charge.
