‘ways’ is a queer feminist art residency and rest space located in Gyula, in the east of Hungary, close to the Romanian border.

It is located in a typical three-bedroom house with a large garden.

Artists from all genres are invited to come and live in the house to work and rest.

Artists are not required to submit project proposals for their time at ways.

Time at ‘ways’ will suit artists who have have a project that needs attention and time that is difficult to access within a full urban-centric life.

It is also a place for relative solitude and comfort to recuperate after a project or to begin a new one.

Depending on who is residing at the house you may share the space with several people or be alone.
