Studio Faire invites applications from artists, writers, designers and all other types of creative practitioner for self-funded, self-directed residencies.
Applications are welcome from anyone who would benefit from a period of uninterrupted time to focus on developing their work.
Residencies can last from a minimum of 1 week to a maximum of 4 weeks.
Accommodation is provided on a self-catering basis, with a private bedroom, private studio, plus shared interior and exterior living and work space.

Scottish couple, Colin Usher and Julia Douglas, moved into this stunning mansion house in the centre of the vibrant market town of Nérac in South West France, in 2017 to set up a contemporary arts space. Though they are still renovating the property, it is fast becoming a centre for artistic development, providing funded and self-funded residencies, photographic courses and cultural events for all types of creative practitioner. Nérac sits to the south of the Lot-et-Garonne, just over the border of the Gers, on the northern edge of Gascony. Here you will find the ‘real’ unspoilt France. Medieval Villages are surrounded by lush green rolling hills that lead your eye to the horizon via sunflower fields, orchards and vines. The perfect place to slow down and focus.
