Throghout the year, the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica organizes Studio Residencies→ and Watercolor Residencies →  for established and emerging artist, as well as for art enthusiasts.

Studio residents→ have 7 days a week access to our fully equipped and extensive studios and print-workshop in the central area of Cannaregio. Our studios are wheelchair accessible.

Watercolor residents→ live and work in Palazzo Dandolo on the Grand Canal. During their residency, they are invited to take part in the Scuola’s activities and workshops in the Cannaregio studios.

Description of Organisation:

Founded in 1969, the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica is an established and equipped studio for professional and practicing artists located in central Venice, Italy.

The Scuola organizes courses and workshops, residency programs, exhibitions and cultural events. Present and past affiliations and collaborative projects include organizations such as Royal Society of Painter Printmakers, Boston Printmakers, Los Angeles Printmaking Society, Premio Leonardo Sciascia Amateur d’estampes, the Artists’ Book Triennal of Vilnius, etc.

Present and past affiliated institutions include, Rhode Island School of Design, Boston University, Indiana University, Pratt Instutute, The University of Iowa and may others.
