The house is in the old centre of the Medina of Marrakech.
There are 4 rooms + an atelier/salon which can also be used as an additional bedroom) 2 bathrooms in the house, an extra toilet, kitchen and living room plus a nice big terrace.
We organize interdisciplinary seminars where the aim is to sharpen perception and creativity. Next seminar will be held in April 2020.
The house of the finish painter Kirsi Mikkola. She fell in love with the medina and has renovated the house completely. This place is for her the perfect place to find inspiration and peace to work. Now she wants to share it with other artists.

The house has simple yet appealing architectural character. When renovating it became clear that these architectural “volumes “ were the most essential aspect in creating an atmosphere of lightness and comfort. The house is an oasis of peace and harmony , the interiors are more ascetic than decorative .
Now that it is fully livable the intention is to offer it to interested individuals to spend time there. They may have an artistic project to work on or wish to get to know this exciting, beautiful city and its surroundings be it the nearby Atlas Mountains or coastal towns such as Esaouira.

This is the key to the peaceful atmosphere that I have so loved in my house. The location is at the end of an undulating alley where you reach a spot of stillness. This is the reason to be there, to be one with the forces that will give you the connection with yourself“
