Residencia Colombia

Name of Residency: Residencia COlombia

Residencia Colombia:
Independent Studio Program
We are a studio-living space aimed to encourage artistic production in a detached environment suitable for introspection, through self-examination of our conscious thoughts and feelings. We see this as a very important way to engage in the creative process, since in the production of knowledge introspective thought is often more secure, direct and foundational. Rather than, outside perception of fluttering sensory knowledge of people and information to retreat gives us space to think, innovate, discover and engage in knew clusters of thoughts, make strong bonds between concepts. We aim to provide the right setting of comfort to trigger creativity. We believe creativity doesn’t come from distress, the better the setting the more space the mind has to concentrate and elaborate ideas of complex thinking.
The residency promotes the artistic development providing a space to stay and create. Indulge in a creative retreat, far from the city with everything you need to nourish creativity, write, concentrate, focus, visualise and develop ideas, within a tropical environment.
We concentrate on individuality and contribute in the comfort of the space to encourage creative introspection.
The residency is open to artists, that draw, paint, illustrators and writers.
