Mineral School

Mineral School is an artists residency located in a historic school house in the lakeside village of Mineral, Washington, USA, which is in the foothills of Mount Rainier. Every summer, we host 16 to 20 residents for one- or two-week stays. Each resident lives in his or her own 800-square foot private studio/bedroom. All meals are included, along with opportunities to share work and attend special events with visiting authors. About a quarter of residents receive fellowships to attend.

In the summer of 2018, we will host 14 writers and two visual artists. Applications for 2018 residencies close on February 15th.
