Description of Organisation:

The Mauser EcoHouse is owned by The Mauser Harmony with Nature Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to improving the quality of life on planet Earth.

We envision a healthy planet. A world where every person has the opportunity to drink clean water, breathe fresh air, eat healthy food and spend time enjoying nature. The earth is our home and we believe it should it should be treated with care and respect.

To educate ourselves and others on how to live, work and play harmoniously within the environment. We support artists, students, businesses, and non-profit organizations who are committed to honoring and respecting our natural world.

The Foundation was established in 1998 in memory of our friend and mentor, Dr. Ferdinand F. Mauser, a Professor at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, Keio University in Tokyo, Japan and University of Munich in Munich, Germany.

As a tribute to Dr. Mauser, international author, educator, traveler, we established the Mauser EcoHouse Artist Residency in 2018.
