Located in the heart of the eastern India, in Bhubaneswar, Kalanirvana International Art center is dedicated to artistic creation, cultural exchange and Culture Tour.

The purpose of KALANIRVANA is to provide an ideal atmosphere and platform for talented and emerging as well as established creative minds to explore and expand their horizon build on their creativity while continuing their artistic journey. Kalanirvana welcomes emerging and established artists, from various forms of art, curators, photographers, film makers, researchers and writers with an identified project and a commitment to fulfill their creative goals with various activities and projects of us.

The Residency was established in Hyderabad in 2011 and shifted to Bhubaneswar in 2016.

KIAR can supply a letter of acceptance or invitation letter to assist with grant applications.. As the Residency is run by Curator, we try to provide partially sponsored Residency programs and some without any sponsor. KIAR, Provide a lot of local support, advice and connection for artists who are interested in research, explore and do documentary in India.As the Residency is run by Curator, it is very good for the artist to feel like home and one get a lot of support and connection regarding exhibition, or connect the right ind of connections in India.
