Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort residency program provides a rent-free residence for visual artists from all over the world in Finnish Lapland. The log cabins are situated inside the resort, surrounded by forests and hills. The cabins have a living room with kitchen and a bathroom with sauna. The kitchen is fully equipped and also bed linen and towels are provided. The log cabin is free of any cost, also electricity and water are included. The resident artist is welcome to stay at Kakslauttanen from 1 week up to 1 month in the summer/autumn season (from July to October). During his/her stay, the resident artist could have a possibility to meet artists from the Artists Association of Lapland and even indigenous Sami artists or artisans. It is also possible to arrange art courses and workshops for professionals and for amateurs at Kakslauttanen. We welcome all forms of activities which involve resident artists and the local community.
