Heima ehf.

Name of Residency: Heima Art Residency

Heima is an independent multidisciplinary art residency for emerging and established artists. The space is a 350 square meters living and studio/exhibition space. Its located in Seyðisfjörður – East Iceland.

Our intention is to create and facilitate temporary collectives for emerging and established artists to work and live together. We offer residencies of 50 or 80 days accommodating six carefully curated artists each.

All artist will live together and have access to shared studio spaces + have their own bedroom.

The program is self-organised and as a young non-profit organisation unfortunately we’re currently unable to provide financial assistance for the artists in residents.

We encourage applications from a wide range of artists of different cultural and geographic backgrounds. We are open for applications for all phases – from initial research to finishing works.
