Given the nature of the location, immersed in the beautiful setting of the Bolognese hills, and the fact it is equipped with a theatre and the possibility to host guests in the guest quarters, we wish to dedicate ourselves to developing and implementing our artistic residency programme.
Since 2007, the year of our opening of Fienile Fluò we hosted productions and creative and experimental periods for Italian artists.
In 2013 Fienile Fluò Crexida began a scheme to develop international artistic residencies, creating Running up that hill, a small international project for artistic residencies and modern dance performances in collaboration with the Mas danza Festival and Danza Urbana.
In 2014 Fienile Fluò also joined Habitat, a network of dance venues promoted by the Associazione Danza Urbana association, alongside the Province of Bologna??s Cultural and Equal Opportunities Service.
In 2015 Fienile Fluò Crexida became Res artis partner to develop and improve international residencies. The goal is also to specialise and make the most out of our facilities by ensuring Fienile Fluò cultural programme is increasingly more sustainable and high-quality, in part thanks to the possibility for exchanges and collaboration with artists in residence and theatre companies that our structure allows.

Residency Programme since: 2007
Description of Organisation:

Fienile Fluò is an old restored hayloft in a quiet hillside location just minutes from the centre of Bologna. Art, food, nature and hospitality come together at Fienile Fluò.
A farm with restaurant (Az. Agricola la Rovere) and a theatre company (Crexida) lives side by side at Fienile Fluò. A unique place, a little garden of Eden full of emotions and unique experiences, where people can eat, see shows and concerts, participate in workshops for children and adults, nature excursions and seminars, and take part in artistic and creative residencies
Our internal rooms include a theatre/hall (100 mq) which can accommodate around 50-70 persons, a further two rooms which are normally used for dining, and guest quarters to host artists in residence.
The outside spaces include colonnaded areas and large gardens, where in the summer months we host our rich artistic programme and welcome guests to lunch and dinner.
The surrounding land is covered with grape vines, fields of wheat, fruit trees and a vegetable garden. Our kitchen offers our guests local products from our fields and selected farms.
We have also recently opened Casa Flu?Õ_ Relais, a bed and breakfast offering 5 charming rooms, stylishly furnished and equipped with every comfort.
We offer a year-round cultural programme which covers a wide range of artistic fields such as theatre, dance, music and cinema. We also pay particular attention to children, for whom we organise workshops and nature activities.

CREXIDA is a theatre company born in 2003. Creates and produces performances, plann and organize festivals and cultural events and workshops.
