The Culture House Babayan is an inter&ndashcultural platform for artists of all nationalities. The target group for the residencies are all international artists interested in contemporary / exploratory site-specific or community based arts.

The artist-in-residency Culture House Babayan is situated in the authentic and historical village of Ibrahimpasa (the old Greek name is Babayan) in Cappadocia, Central Anatolia in Turkey.

The Culture House Babayan is an artist-run micro retreat residency.

In the Culture House Babayan the cave apartments offer a special opportunity for making art. Here the Foundation Culture House Babayan has created an artistic environment and facilities for artists of all nationalities and many disciplines. This is the place for intercultural co&ndashoperation between foreign, Turkish and Dutch artists wishing to work on project based plans and concepts throughout the year.

The goal of the Culture House Babayan Foundation is to offer studio facility in natural caves (closed or in open air) and to initiate cultural exchange with local inhabitants and organize art projects.
