FUNDACION CASA XAAN extends a cultural residency program into supporting the individual production of art and on its mission to link the community we are located at to this cross-cultural process. Accounts on providing with living quarters, working space and healthy food into focus on self directed production of work through a period to choose from 2 weeks up to 3 months.

XAANINNA is located in the heart of the mexican mayan country, where the heritage of this antique civilization is still a current trade in the language, food, uses and costumes of its inhabitants.

Fantastic natural scenarios to be discovered among hidden mayan ruins in the jungle, short distance to one of the most famous beach locations of the world: Tulum, as its becoming a hot spot for world class electronic music and art festivals.

FUNDACION CASA XAAN has as mission the study, research and diffussion of Quintana Roo cultural heritage and its link with contemporary artistic expression and world life. Located at Tulum, Mexico performs on a model for low impact suburban housing utilizing mayan architecture on a minimal, low density, low tech, jungle concept. Hosted independent and directly by its owners: architect and cook.
