We invite artists to come and work for four to twelve weeks in the Westfjords of Iceland.
We offer two residencies with a private room and a private studio in the center of Ísafjörður (shared kitchen). We also offer residency space for three artists at Engi, which is a private house on the outskirts of Ísafjörður (private bedroom, shared studio). The residency is open to visual artists, writers and multidisciplinary artists who may profit from the environment/spaces on offer. Artists pay a moderate fee for their stay at the residency.
We do accept applications during open calls. Please stay posted! During open call, please send us your CV (pdf-format, max. 3 A4 pages) and 3-5 samples of work (texts, images, sound samples or videos), including a brief description of each work (max. 100 words each). For the application form contact firstname.lastname@example.org More information here: www.kolsalt.is/residency-information.html
