CUVEE – Storytelling for Artists – explores the connections between Art, Meaning and Storytelling to foster the growth of the artist´s career and inspire local communities to produce positive changes through Arts. We offer space, time and access to the network of organizations and a Study Center dedicated to the narration of Arts. We are focused on supporting the Artists to use a compelling storytelling to engage audiences and inspire a deeper understanding.
CUVEE was founded by Paolo Massimo Di Lazzaro and Lya Tarlas, with an academic background in the field of communication and semiotics: “Art is directly involved in the process of signification and always involves a narrative process that leads to reflection and the transfer of knowledge. We want to focus our attention on the artist’s narration”.
We are a self-financed Art Residence opened to all disciplines. We welcome artists, writers, composer/musicians, performance artists at any stage, but also experts and creative thinkers from different backgrounds to inspire new ways of looking at art and the world. We can hosts 6-12 artists creating small, dynamic, interactive groups and is carefully curated to bring together a group of creative workers across various disciplines, who might collaborate and learn from one another.
