ARCAPACHA is a small, traditional farm in Colombia that has a residence center to host artists. Our underlying theme is environmental art in any medium. Located adjacent to Yopal, a small village in the forested mountains of the Tolima region, 130 kilometers south of Bogota.

We offer accommodation, workshop spaces, and practical support. Our center is designed to host one client (up to four people) at a time to ensure privacy and focus. Duration of residencies is generally 3-8 weeks.

Currently we are working in the construction of new spaces for the residents. Now we have two new ateliers with facility for rehearsal space, painting and sculpture and a carpentry shop.

Artists are also encouraged to consider the use of natural materials from the area such as stone, wood, clay, bamboo (guadua), lianas, or sand. Guest are invited to use our supply of tools for basic wood, ceramic and metal work.

Meals: Guests are offered a meal plan (including vegetarian options), or they may simply use the kitchen themselves.
