AIR 3331 (3331 Arts Chiyoda)

Centrally located in Tokyo (Kanda/Akihabara area), AIR 3331 is a convenient base between sites of tradition and the ultra-modern. With a shared studio/exhibition space inside 3331 Arts Chiyoda, or the nearby live-in studio (newly established in 2015), resident creators can realize artwork production and research, workshops or events, and open studios or exhibitions. In support, 3331 coordinators facilitate creators? activities, from production advice or language assistance, to sharing knowledge of the local art scene.

We currently accommodate a wide range of practices, up to 5 individual/group projects per month. Accommodation, shared studio and staff support are available!

Applications are to open for residencies between May 1, 2018 to March 29, 2019. We ask that applications be submitted by January 22, 2018.
