The residency program gives the artist the opportunity to experiment on printmaking (day and night). The Print Studio is 575 m2 and artists have access to all presses and other equipment.

Residency Programme since: 1995
Description of Organisation:

Founded in 1958, AGA is the oldest graphic studio in Holland. We are a forerunner in environment friendly methods of working and in the use of mixed techniques. The tables and presses have found a place in the spacious and high gym of a former schoolbuilding in the Kolenkitneighborhood in Amsterdam West. Yearly more than 200 artists and designers from national and foreign soil use our non-toxic, well equipped &lsquogym&rsquo.

Besides studio and creative platform AGA is also a knowledge centre and meeting place. We organize symposia, international exchanges, surprising exhibitions and offer space for research. A unique place where art, craftsmanship and new techniques come together. Besides that, we host two Artists in Residence every month from over the whole world, who create a world-wide exchange of inspiration and techniques.
