Casa Belgrado

Since 2015, we have worked these values and ideals to create artistic residencies which have grown each year with participation from dramaturgs, visual artists, multimedia artists, sound artists, choreographers, performers, and contemporary artists from countries around the world. Our residency program was born with the idea to propose, develop and promote the expansion of thoughts and actions and the meeting of international artists, to stimulate the production of contemporary artistic projects and to stimulate the process of artistic research in its daily context and lived existence.
We believe in the value of dialogue and exchange, not only in the process of creation and production in the studio and in performance, but also our exchanges with the common interests of the artistic landscape in Argentina and the local artistic scene in Buenos Aires.

Residency Programme since: 2016
Description of Organisation: Belgrado is a creative space for research and experimentation in the disciplines of contemporary art, including performance, dance, theater, sonic performance, film, and multimedia disciplines. Our interest is to generate dialogue and exchange. We create a space where diverse artistic meetings converge and there is the potential to expand and align divergent creative energies. We embrace the cross roads and experiences of composition and performance in the contemporary context that views art as post discipline. Our space also functions as a rehearsal space, a place for workshops, intensives, festivals, and a performance space.
