Our board member Luigi Galimberti has recently visited Res Artis member Cyril P Jacob at the residency Palette People in the magnificent hills of Kerala, India, during the Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2018.

Luigi is currently Collection Care Research Manager at Tate in London. Previously, he has been the director of Transnational Dialogues from 2012 to 2016. Transnational Dialogues is an exchange and research programme for artists, curators, designers and architects across Brazil, China and several European countries. The NGO European Alternatives runs Transnational Dialogues. And Luigi has been collaborating with the organisation since 2006.

He thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to meet our member Cyril P Jacob and the artist in residences at Palette People.

Founded in 1991, Palette People International Art Foundation is a registered charitable organisation in the state of Kerala in India. Initially formed as an organisation to promote and support artists, Palette People have been conducting exhibitions, camps, seminars and talks for artists as we all as supporting artists financially.

The residency is in a remote location in Vagamon. It is located at an upcoming hill station in the western ghats of Kerala (105 km from Kochi). The region is well known for its Biodiversity.
