Primo Piano Atelier is a program for artists to pursue independent work in a community of peers sharing a uniquely rich historical setting. Meeting point, where all the professionals of arts are invited to exchange expertise and to engage collaborations.

Dear Artist,
The Primo Piano Atelier is a space dedicated to instruction in Printmaking, specialising in engraving and intaglio, both traditional and experimental techniques. With the ambition to create, exchange and share and in researching permanently relations of proximity, Primo Piano Atelier in partnership with Primo Piano LivinGallery, contemporary art gallery,  is putting to the local and regional actor’s disposal, an operational infrastructure including a specific documentary fund, audiovisual and informational aids and a reading room, exhibition rooms, favouring the promotion and the notoriety of the residents in Italy, in Europe and all over the world.

Favouring research and experimentation in connection with new technical tools the residence, an instrument to enrich the knowledge and techniques. These recidences will permit to the young apprentices to get new competences, completing their training, optimizing their entrance in active life; the exchanges will also stimulate the confirmed professionals to open their techniques for modern creation, for the designee and for new technologies.Participating artists are invited to workshops at beautiful apartments in the heart of the city, equipped with every comfort and the kitchen area.

Artists are invited to discover the magic places of the city, the Baroque architecture and other. All levels welcome. Class Size: 5-10 people depending on space limitations. Private one-on-one instruction is also available.
